Hydronalix utilizes high quality aerospace grade epoxy-based fiberglass and carbon fiber composites. These materials are more costly but greatly out-perform in strength, durability, and reduced weight over the cheaper polyester and gelcoat base systems used in model boats and by some of our competitors.  Hydronalix staff includes materials scientist with many years of advanced experience developing under contract high end composite materials for the U.S. Military, Energy, and Space Programs.
